Ages
This program is currently open for boys with 2012-2018 birth years, with girls players heading into a 10U traveling season for the 2027-2028 season, and have completed one season of organized hockey.
When
The season will have two sessions. The first will be early-April through mid-May. The second session will be late-July through early-September.
Where
Practices will be at Bloomington Ice Garden. Games and tournaments can be located throughout the metro.
Practices
Each team will have two practices per week, which will total to 26 hours of practice. These practices will take place during the week in the evening.
Games
Each team will have 4-5 games per session
Jerseys
Jerseys and socks are included in the registration cost. Jersey size and numbers will be collected at a later date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be tryouts?
As of now, Bloomington Loons Hockey will not have tryouts for the 2027 season. However, if registration numbers will require two teams for an age group, the tryouts would occur in the Spring of 2027 before practices take place.
2027 Season
$975-$1175 skater
$450-$550 goalie
(Includes $300 deposit at time of registration)
The season will run in two sessions. The first is early-April through mid-May. The second session will be late-July through early-September. Each team will have roughly 26 hours of ice for practice, and 8-10 games (mix of tournaments and games, depending on the age group)
All practices will be in the evenings at Bloomington Ice Gardens. Each team will either practice every Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday.
For 2027, Bloomington Loons will feature 8 teams. A 10U Girls' team, and Boys teams 2012-2018.
